I use RH 7, but i think it will be the same in 6.2
run linuxconf, go to tab "Control", within "Control panel" open "Control
service activity". In the list click on postgres. Check "Startup
automatic", open tab "Run levels" and check proper levels. i.e. i'm
always using level 5 (Graphical interface), so i check "Level 5". You
can check Levels 2 and 3 too.
