Because the nightly snapshot is named:

postgresql.snapshot.tar.gz

If an FTP proxy server is running, the file actually
received is whatever file was last cached in the proxy.

It would be better to name each nightly snapshot with a
date code, so snapshots can be downloaded as expected.
