is generate_series_timestamp() exposed on public api ?

I found this function in src/backend/utils/adt/timestamp.c called
generate_series_timestamp(timestamp, timestamp, interval). It might be
useful sometimes, but doesn't look like it is exposed to public api.
Anyone knows anything ?
