I am glad to see the website is once again back up. I noticed when browsing the
site that one of the advertisements is for an event in Ottawa, Canada that is
scheduled for January 25-26, 2003. I also noticed that there are still ads for
car rentals in Europe, travel agencies, and the Holy Gardens Memorial Park.
I am not sure what this last one is, as all the ads redirect to the hub.org
main page on my browser, but this does remind me that the advertising issue
was never resolved. Here are what I see as the two big unanswered questions:

What prompted the redesign to put the ads on every page of the site,
when before they were only on the opening "flags" page?

How much monthly revenue do the ads bring in, and can we (the community)
provide an alternative to this income, perhaps via direct contributions?
