Ave all Admins,
I searched the list for before this, but i didn't find an answer. I'm
doing all as the script (i think) and I don't get autentication to user. My
pg_hab.conf is (10.3.128.222 is the localhost):
local all password
host all 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 password
host teste 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 password users
host teste 10.3.128.222 255.255.255.255 password users
local teste password users
The file "users" is located at /home/pgsql/pgdata/ directory. I made it
with pg_passwd. (user mane, password mane). The server startup fine. The
$PGDATA is set to /home/pgsql/pgdata.
and "psql teste mane" give me "psql: Password authentication failed for
user 'mane'". The server is 7.1.2 running under Linux.
What is wrong?
Abracos,
Edipo Elder
