Hi all!

IRCCS E. Medea is an Italian no-profit scientific and clinical research institute. It spreads over 5 different geographical locations connected through a private data network.

We are using PostgreSQL as DBMS because its object-oriented features qualify it for managing biomedical data and it is freely available to community via the open source philosophy.

Bioengineering Lab. staff developed a PostgreSQL Replicator tool (pgReplicator) in order to extend original potentials of PostgreSQL ORDBMS and make it able to manage distributed databases by means of asynchronous data replication.

pgReplicator is available under GNU public license.

If you are interested in replicating PostgreSQL databases please visit
http://pgreplicator.sourceforge.net
for more information.

Suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks all.
