I am wondering if there would be any problems that might ensue if one
were to copy all the data files from one host to another. The two
machines are identical IRIX boxes, so there shouldn't be any problems
with machine architecture or OS. I have done this in the past, with
no adverse effects, but I'm wondering if it is actually a safe thing
to do:->

Thanks,
