Pgpool Global Development Group is pleased to announce the availability of Pgpool-II 4.2.1.
Pgpool-II is a tool to add useful features to PostgreSQL, including:
* connection pooling
* load balancing
* automatic fail over and more.

A critical issue of watchdog has been found in Pgpool-II 4.2.0.
All Pgpool-II 4.2.0 users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to 4.2.1.
This issue does not affect version 4.1.x and earlier versions.
