Just did it 4 more times with the same result (freeze up and need to force
quit).  Prior to the last 2 times I turned off the Guru hints on the theory that
might have something to do with it (since the Guru hints dialog always popped up
between the time I clicked OK and the freeze up), but it still froze up.

Here is the command in the SQL tab (if I execute this from a SQL Editor window,
there is no problem):  ALTER TABLE conversion.ac_journalpost_rev_cc_0924y
  RENAME TO ac_journalpost_rev_cc_0924;

pgAdminIII version in about window:  Version 1.16.0 (Sep 7 2012, rev:
REL-1_16_0)

I forgot to mention last time (though I'm not sure it matters), that the server
is version 8.4.11 on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5)

If this is any help, here are the "problem details" from the Window error
dialog:

it doesn't freeze for me. Are you using the 1.16 release ? if not, try
and tell us if it still happens.

Thanks.
