Hi,
after Beta1 I'd reported problems in the regression tests under Digital
Unix/Tru64. Unfortunately I had no time to report about my tests and to
check Beta2 before now.

Beta2 builds fine on Digital Unix 4.0G:

template1=# SELECT version();
version
-------------------------------------------------------------------
PostgreSQL 7.4beta2 on alphaev67-dec-osf4.0g, compiled by cc -std

and regression tests are ok.

Under Beta1 the regression tests failed in random ways: I've run tens of
sets, with a number of errors ranging from 0 to 8-9. Almost any test
have failed once or more, and I could not recognise any apparent
pattern. I tend to put the blame on the test themselves rather that the
database, or maybe to the environment of the tests.
