Hi All

Ive got a brief to convert the existing functionality of a fairly
sophisticated ms-access database to an sql backend and then add a web
(apache/php) interface to it. It will be running on a beefy mac box with
os x.

First, I have to evaluate which server I'm going to use - and seeing as
I'm already inolved with similar (non mac) projects with postgres, I'd
like to go that way.

So is postgres a viable option for osx (jaguar I think), or do I go back
to mysql?
I'd love to hear from anyone with real world experience.
by viable I mean it can be obtained in binary form, doesn't require a
very specific version/patch level of os x, as well as works (properly).

Thanks all
