First I would like to thank the developers who appeared after Linuxworld to
answer questions; the session was very enlightening.

Anyway, I was wondering what impact the filesystem has on postgres
performance. Does it work just about the same with all, or are there
significant differences? For example, I understand that reiserfs doesn't
handle large files as well as alternatives, would this have significant
impact? What about the fragmentation handling of an fs?

Regards,
Jeff Davis
