These people earn so much and what about that oath they take about upholding
the values of their office...

Hmm. Maybe they are pieces of toast. Just do a search on goolge for 'bizarre
patents' and have a quite giggle. Then realise that what you are laughing
about has a direct consequence on your commercial stability.
