Hi all,

Is there somebody who knows what the future plans for the odbc driver is?
I'm especially interested in support for the new backend/front-end
protocol in 7.4, because my windows app makes use of error codes from
PostgreSQL. Currently I'm using 7.3 and moving on is difficult because of
these error messages is changing. I was very pleased when 7.4 included
support for standard error codes, but to my knowledge these codes is not
available when using odbc because the driver does not use the new protocol.

So, is there any effort going on to move the odbc driver further, or do I
have to search for some replacement for the driver to be able to follow
new versions of PostgreSQL.

Regards,

Håkon
