You need to do it like this:

    <para>
     <command>pg_dumpall</command> does not
     save large objects.  Check
     <![%standalone-include[the documentation]]>
     <![%standalone-ignore[<xref linkend="backup-dump-caveats">]]>
     if you need to do this.
    </para>
