MS Access hangs upon data import

postgres db version: 8.3
driver version: 09 00 0200
MS Access: Office 2003
workstation: winXP

I am trying to import a large table to MS Access. After selecting the
table, and then ok, the import starts. It hangs after the status bar gets
to full (100%).

I am able to import smaller tables successfully.

I have searched the web and found nothing on this.
