Why "initdb: failed" ????

Hi,

Why is the database initialization process failing? (See below)

$ /usr/sbin/cygserver &

$ cygserver: Initialization complete. Waiting for requests.
initdb -D /usr/local/pgsql/data -W -E LATIN1
The files belonging to this database system will be owned by user "Daniel
Secomb
".
This user must also own the server process.

The database cluster will be initialized with locale C.
