The following is in relation to the 7.4 RC 1 release of code.
Even though I set LDFLAGS to -R/usr/local/pgsql/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib
and set the configure option
--with-libraries=/usr/local/pgsql/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib
compiling seems to leave libpq.so with an inability to find libgcc_s.so
(which is at /usr/local/lib).
I'm using
Solaris9
gcc 3.3.2
gnu make
ant
seems like there's something amis with the Makefile perhaps.
Regards,
peter.
