Data Warehouse Test Architect - Canberra, Australia

Contract testing experts needed for large Agile data warehousing project for
federal government in Canberra, ACT. 3-6 month project with possibility of
long-term placement. Local candidates strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

- guarantee relational correctness of several data marts integrated into
an enterprise data warehouse
- develop and maintain test suite
- take ownership of testing functions in an Agile team environment
- install, manage, and customize database testing software
- coordinate product enhancements with testing software vendor

Required Qualifications:

- strong experience in large SQL database development and testing (DB2
and Oracle a big plus)
- strong programming skills with modern scripting languages, especially
Ruby
- experience installing and maintaining web applications on Apache and
PostgreSQL (or MySQL)
- high comfort level in Linux and Unix environments
- experience or strong interest in Agile team environments
- excellent English speaking and writing skills
- strong interpersonal skills and dedicated work ethic
