Actually, to me (And i guess it's pretty obvious), decide now to
collect this information (Assuming that what's going to be taken into
account are the commit messages), besides being a huge task, adds the
need to check the logs periodically to update such list (So for the
next release there's a starting point to re-update). To me this means,
as stated in previous messages "Spend developer/reviewer time to check
who did what" and the respective discussions.

And also, there are companies/persons who contribute with some other
things than code (Docs, proofreading, Translations?).. are those to be
left out of the scope?

It would be great for companies, to have their names oficially
included in a release note. but including most, doesn't mean including
them all. Probably some of those not included, will call for
attention, leading to possible misunderstandings
