Job Summary

TCDI is seeking a fulltime Senior Programmer who will be responsible
for working as part of a small team to develop complex web based
applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent Java development
skills and some experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT).

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum 10 years Java development
- Expert knowledge of Java, SQL, HTML/CSS (cross-browser
development), Object Oriented Programming
- Unix/Linux, Windows, Sockets/Network Protocols, UI
Design/Implementation, GWT, Image Processing
- PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, creating and analyzing
schemas and queries
- Java development tools (Ant, Maven, Eclipse/IntelliJ, etc)
- SCMs such as SVN, CVS, GIT
- Experience with multi-tier application platforms
- Flash, Graphic Design abilities, C/C++ experience a plus
- Tomcat, Jetty, WebSphere, JBoss experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively with small teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to acquire and refine new and complex technical skills
- Ability to work varied hours to meet project needs
- Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task effectively
and be flexible - able to adapt plans and react to change
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
the ability to document complex technical problems and solutions, and
convey in-depth technical topics to others
