DL'd the 1.2.2 pkg.

will NOT launch from Finder o dubl-clik. nothing. no console or log entries.

exploring, i note:

no executable bit is set on the executable. whereas in _my_ local, dynamic
1.3.dev buuild:

the .app lauches OK, and at 1st glance appears (mostly) operational ...

BUT, the "QUIT" menu item is completely disable (grayed out). only way out is
a "Force Quit" fromn finder, or kill @ shell ...
