I think this problem has now been solved - I'm just awaiting the results of
some testing. In the meantime, it has been reported that the version of the
vsadoselector.ocx file that shipped with version 6.5.3 does work correctly
with v6.5.5 (which should be the case as the mods that were made to the file
between releases were for a different package and don't affect pgAdmin) -
thanks Magnus.

This can be used by:

1) Install pgAdmin v6.5.3
2) Copy C:\Windows\system\vsadoselector.ocx or
C:\Winnt\system32\vsadoselector.ocx somwhere safe.
3) Uninstall 6.5.3
4) Install 6.5.5
5) Copy the vsadoselector.ocx file back where it came from.
6) Register the file by going to Start -> Run and entering 'regsvr32
c:\windows\system\vsadoselector.ocx' or 'regsvr32
c:\winnt\system32\vsadoselector.ocx' (without the quotes). Now press OK.

Regards,

Dave.

NASA uses Windows? Oh great. If Apollo 13 went off course today
the manual would just tell them to open the airlock, flush the astronauts
out, and re-install new ones! - Kibo in the SDM.
