This is the first public announcement of rubyrep, an open source
software for asynchronous, master-master replication of relational
databases.

It has been designed for
- database independence (currently supported: PostgreSQL and MySQL)
- being ridiculously easy to use

Getting from zero to working master-master replication in under 5
minutes? Watch the screencast:
    http://www.rubyrep.org/screencast.html

Release status: 1.0.3
(While new, it is production ready. In fact I have been using it in
production since April.)

License: Open Source (MIT)

More information - including a step-by-step tutorial - is available on
the project website:
    http://www.rubyrep.org

If you are looking for a replication solution, please give it a try!
