It combines all lines into a single statement, which is handy, but things
like this still trip it up:

psql#> CREATE <return>
psql-#> TAB <tab>

Just in case you weren't aware, some settings /can/ be changed per
database with:

ALTER DATABASE prod SET random_page_cost = 2;
ALTER DATABASE fooz SET work_mem = '32 MB';

Not the logging and shared_buffers though...
