You probably just broke at least one Unix platform.  My recollection is
that "int optreset", not "extern int optreset", is essential on the
platforms that don't HAVE_INT_OPTRESET.  Certainly we do that
everyplace else.

Please wrap this change in a suitable bcc #ifdef.
