Dear ramy,

ok "manual" uninstall does not seem to be a good idea. Most of your
results do not actually correspond to postgresql. And a lot of what has
been installed does not appear. You mentionned in your first message
that the uninstall process left "a bunch of configuration nonsense".
Could you tell us what it is? Does someone else successfully uninstalled
postgres via brew??
