Hi All,
I would like to find out if there is a way of building the pgsqlODBC
driver without having to build, and install, the PostgreSQL database
software.
I have looked through the documentation for 08.03.0100 and from what I
understand, it appears that I only require the 8.2.x source directory to
be able to compile the driver.
The problem comes in when I run configure, it dies looking for
"pg_config", I assume, to get the build options for libpq.
Is there something I am missing, do I need to have the PostgreSQL 8.2.x
software fully installed before being able to build pgsqlODBC 08.03.0100?
Any hints/tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bruce
