Re: psql: FATAL: Ident authentication failed for user "postgres"

Got it about cc'ing.

Actually, I restarted postgres using:

/etc/init.d/postgresql restart

Any other suggestions?

Did you HUP postmaster?

The docs say you can just pg_ctl reload to do this.
