I have installed Postgresql 7.5 devel using
the msi installer both on windows xp and windows 2000.
It works fine on both OS. Congratulations for the great job
to all the developer team.
One thing is that in Greece the correct encoding (for windows)
is WIN1253 and not ISO-8859-7. Those two encodings are almost the
same, but there are some differences which result to some
functions (to_char) not working properly (and also sorting
some times does not work correctly).
Does anybody now if encoding WIN1253 will ever be supported by postrges?
