Hi,
I tried to upgrade postgres from 6.3.2 to 6.4.2 using rpm package( I am
running redhat5.2 on a PC-333), but I met some errors like:
could not override/update pg_id in /usr/bin/
Could you please give me any advice for it?
I just found to install postgres-server(rpm) requires
postgres-client(rpm), but I hadn't updated postgres-client before I
upgraded postgres-server. Does it matter? I mean if a previous version
of client will affect the server's upgrade?
Thank you for your kind assistance.
