jdbc and ie explorer

I have an app/application and jar'd together the app along with the
postgres dir. It works fine as a standalone application. It works
fine as an app in appletviewer. It works fine as an app under
netscape 4.x. BUT of course it does not work under IE 5. I get
"java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver
at java/sql/DriverManager.getConnection"

and of course microshaft ie is used here. anyone else use the jdbc
and found a solution or know whats going on?
