I can't duplicate this --- for me, pg_dump produces

CREATE DOMAIN address_period_tsi AS public.tsinterval NOT NULL DEFAULT '(-infinity..infinity)'::public.tsinterval;

which reloads just fine.  Could you provide a more complete example?
