for a Senior PostGre DBA/ Architect for a position in Springfield, IL.

OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual will join a team responsible for the research, architecture,
design, and installation of an enterprise high availability PostgreSQL
database cluster solution.

. Provide subject matter expertise on PostgreSQL

. Architect/design high availability PostgreSQL database clusters

. Install, configure, and tune PostgreSQL database clusters on Linux
distributions (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu

. PL/SQL installation and configuration

. Scripting (Perl, Shell, Python)

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:

. 7+ years of PostgreSQL database architecture and administration
experience

. Experience installing, configuring, tuning high availability
database clusters (terabyte sized)

. Database replication and partitioning experience

. Scripting experience (Perl, Shell, Python)

. Extensive PL/SQL experience

. Extensive knowledge of OLTP (Online Transaction Processing)

. Experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) configurations

. Experience with Virtualization technologies (VMware, Vblock, etc)
is preferred

. Superior customer service and communication skills, experience
providing consulting services to enterprise organizations

Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 1. 7+ Years of PostgreSQL database
architecture AND Administration experience 2. Experience designing,
installing, configuring, tuning high availability database clusters
(terabyte sized) 3. Database replication AND partitioning experience .
