The uuid-ossp files are missing from the 8.4.4 contrib rpm that I downloaded
from here:
http://wwwmaster.postgresql.org/download/mirrors-ftp/binary/v8.4.4/linux/rpm
s/redhat/rhel-5-i386/postgresql-contrib-8.4.4-1PGDG.rhel5.i386.rpm
These files existed in the 8.3.11 rpm I was using previously, but are
missing from the 8.4.4 rpm:
/usr/lib/pgsql/uuid-ossp.so
/usr/share/doc/postgresql-contrib-8.3.11/uuid-ossp.sql
/usr/share/pgsql/contrib/uninstall_uuid-ossp.sql
/usr/share/pgsql/contrib/uuid-ossp.sql
