I'd be happy to be part of the admin team for these servers! As to what
we want installed on them, on a low level my preference is FreeBSD but
i'm perfectly happy with linux too. Since there are two servers,
depending on the anticipated traffic, it makes sense to split up duties.
Eg: one database server and one web/application server.

We probably want an email server, i'm agnostic as to which one (although
i'm a bit of a sendmail buff myself :). Blogs? Well, we probably need to
discuss this in more detail.

On the high level, probably some CMS (what is postgresql.org using?). It
all depends what the purpose of these servers is going to be of course!
