Next Meeting:

Tuesday, November 14th, 2006, 7:30pm to 10:00pm
Greenplum Offices (directions below)
1900 S. Norfolk Ave., Suite 204, San Mateo CA

CASEY DUNCAN of Pandora will present:
"Horizontal Scalability with Postgresql: A Case Study"

After the presentation, TOM LANE and BRUCE MOMJIAN will join us, along with
Greenplum staff, for an 8.2 release or pre-release party (depending on
whether the release is out).

Refreshments and food will be provided, including beer. Attendees are
encouraged to carpool with a designated driver; use the SFPUG(at)postgresql(dot)org
mailing list to coordinate.

You must RSVP in order to provide a count for refreshments and so that we know
which meeting room to use! If you don't RSVP, no beer for you.

Directions:
DRIVING, from 101: Take the 92 West exit and immediately exit onto Fashion
Island blvd. Turn left at the bottom of the off-ramp, follow under the
freeway and then turn right at Norfolk. Building 1900 is less than a block.
Drive around to the right, and park in back of the building. Greenplum is on
the 2nd floor, directly opposite the building rear elevators.

CALTRAIN: take the Caltrain to San Mateo station. You must contact the SFPUG
list and/or Josh Berkus (josh(at)agliodbs(dot)com) at least 1 day in advance to be
picked up at Caltrain.

Phone Numbers: Josh Berkus 415-602-3564, Greenplum 650.286.8012
