A wide-ranging discussion of VACUUM and MVCC has resulted in a change
to the TODO list, namely "Reuse index tuples that point to heap tuples
that are not visible to anyone?"

The conference will include announcements and demos of more than 8
brand-new PostgreSQL add-ons and features. Sponsors include Afilias,
EnterpriseDB, Greenplum, Pervasive, Skype and Sun.

monitoring framework" which would support runtime code introspection
using tools like DTrace.

Charles Comiskey found three parts of the PostgreSQL code whose
licensing was unclear. Two of them may be under by the GPL and one
was of unknown copyright. The GPL components are being removed, and
the Michael Meskes cleared up the ownership of the latter piece of
code.

you want the Cygwin port to be in future versions of PostgreSQL, speak
up now is the time to speak up on pgsql-general or pgsql-hackers. One
major concern is the current lack of a consistent Cygwin buildfarm
member.
