<html><base href="https://freemail.web.de/"/><style>p {margin: 0px}</style><body style='font-size:9pt; font-family:Verdana; font-family: Verdana' ><P>We save some data in VISCII (Vietnamese TCVN). </P><P>Selecting the data with psql will return correct values, but when I try to access the data with libpgtcl.so, depending on the Server-encoding, some of the characters are changed.</P><P>I tried to build the database without multibyte, but this feature seams no more to be available.</P><P>I tried also to set client_encoding to TCVN, so the missed characters are O.K., but some others are exchanged.</P><P>How I can stop the interface thinking about my data, I just want back, what I putted in ;-))</P><P>Thanks, Steffen</P></body></html>
