1) I would like to know if we can do incremental backups.
I know that we can use pgdump and a 100Mb database can be processed in
about 10 minutes without going offline.

2) Can we use triggers to insert records in a remote database?

3) Do you recommend this method or we must stick to replication to get
our database online on failure.?
