Sorry Bob, I've been a bit tied up the last couple of weeks.
Andreas; any ideas on this? I didn't even know there was a ctrl-f find
dialogue....
Regards Dave.

Subject: pgAdminIII error
Hey Dave. Don't know if this one is in your baliwick or not,
but if not, could you forward it to the right person?
Error occurs on a Windows XP machine which accesses the database
remotely via a lan. I am running the .exe you sent last month to fix the
dropped column name problem.
With pgAmnin's main page open, I open the SQL tool (meaning the
text editor) with a table script loaded. I need to change some field
types, so I use the text find tool (Control - F) to look for the values
I need, then change them manually in the editor. If I close the text
editor tool before I close the text find tool, pgAdmin bombs.
I get a windows message that says pgAdmin tools encountered an
error and needs to shut down. The error signature is
AppName: pgadmin3.exe
AppVer 1.1.00
ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 0000000
I can send you all that nifty machine code contained in the
windows error report if you'd like.
thanks
Bob Kesselman
