Rajesh,

In the Properties window for the Postmaster service (Windows Services -
usually Services under Administrative Tools or the equivalent), go to the
Log On tab and make sure the option "This account: " is selected. Enter the
appropriate user name and password that you are using to start postmaster
under Cygrunsrv (i.e. enter the same user name and password in you Cygrunsrv
command line). You will have to log on to Windows using this user name and
password, and then run Cygrunsrv. If successful, it should then start
automatically whenever you boot up.

Once it starts as a service, if you have problems with it not starting in
the future on boot up, make sure there is no postmaster.pid file in the
database directory. If postmaster is NOT running, and there is a
postmaster.pid file in the directory, delete the file and try to start the
service again.

HTH.
George
