Melbourne, Australia: PHP - Postgres/SQL specialist

We speak to many, many programmers and software engineers. You might be
amazed (or not) to find that the vast majority of programmers cannot explain
the following database related terms, let alone know how to implement
applications that take advantage of them:

** referential integrity
** triggers
** normalisation
** replication
** transactions
** stored procedures

So we're looking for the unusual programmer who actually understands how
databases work - a programmer who DOES understand these terms, who
understands their implications.

You'll be coding OO applications in PHP that manipulate large and complex
Postgres databases.

But we don't mind which database(s) you know best. Ideally you will have
skills and experience with Postgres, but any of the other well-known
databases will do.

A competent level of command line Linux is desirable.
