The log contains 1763 iterations of:

pq_flush: send() failed: Broken pipe
FATAL: pq_endmessage failed: errno=32

I'm assuming that this is because the client disconnected while receiving data.
Seems like a long time (1763 msgs worth) to recover.

Any additional insights would be appreciated.
