Yes, I'm connected as a superuser, and created the rule as the
superuser too. I can manually drop it. I've tested this using
PostgreSQL 8.3.1, 8.4.4 and 9.0 beta 3.
If I use pgAdmin III 1.10.3, I get the drop option. (image attached)
