Hello,
I have installed Redhat Linux 6.0 which includs all the packages they have
provided and when I tried to start Postmaster, it gave me a error message:
"/usr/bin/postmaster does not know where to find the database system data. " I
found is was nothing under the postgres home directory. In addition, I found
the description of the postgresql package says: "if you installed postgresql,
you should also install the postgresql-data." Do you know where can I find
"postgresql-data" package? And were is the database system?
Thank you very much!
Lingmei Shao
