It's clear a number of people on this list saw my monster commits last
night, changing our licence name from BSD to PostgreSQL, but aren't
aware of the reason for that change.

In a nutshell - the licence itself hasn't changed, just the name we
use to refer to it. The change makes no difference to anyone except
possibly those involved in any form of marketing!!
