Many thanks for that!

That's not quite how we run the PostgreSQL infrastructure. With a few exceptions, whenever we have need for a new service of some kind, we build a FreeBSD jail to contain it and deploy it on whichever piece of hardware is most appropriate for our needs, and keep backups of the entire jail elsewhere. This gives use far greater flexibility to move things around in the event of problems than if we tie specific services to particular hardware.
So, if/when we decide to deploy some eu-specific websites or similar, we'll build it in a jail which may or may not end up on one of these boxes.
The immediate plans we had for these boxes that we had been mulling over were to move a static mirror of www.postgresql.org from a box in Austria (which is also hosting the dynamic master site), and to add an eu-hosted copy of ftp.postgresql.org.
Regards, Dave
