Here's what happens:
$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs(at)postgresql(dot)org:/usr/local/cvsroot login

CVS password:
$ cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs(at)postgresql(dot)org:/usr/local/cvsroot co -P pgsql
