hi list

i wonder why TextAsLongVarchar is per default on ON. i spent quite a while trying all sorts of things to fetch a TEXT field with length() > 16384 bytes... in the default configuration, pgsqlodbc on win32 systems truncates the data. there must be a reason behind that default setting, mustn't it?

what else would i have to look for that might be influencing my odbc experience? BoolsAsChars should be 0 per default IMHO as well...

regards,
thomas
